The Faculty of Agriculture is committed to providing state-of-the-art research facilities that support innovation, practical learning, and the development of sustainable agricultural solutions. Key Research Facilities

Experimental and Demonstration Farms
Extensive field areas are available for crop research, practical demonstrations, and hands-on student training. Research is actively conducted on various crops including dragon fruit, orchard crops, and field crops under both open and protected cultivation.
Protected Cultivation Units (Polyhouses)
Modern polyhouses are established to facilitate research on protected cultivation practices, crop diversification, high-value horticultural crops, and year-round production technologies.
Vermicomposting Unit
A fully operational vermicomposting unit supports research in organic waste management and production of eco-friendly fertilizers. This unit promotes studies in sustainable agriculture and organic farming techniques.
Silkworm Cultivation Unit (Sericulture Research)
Dedicated facilities for silkworm rearing and mulberry cultivation enable research on sericulture, providing valuable insights into integrated farming systems and rural entrepreneurship development.
Crop Protection Laboratories
Well-equipped labs for entomology and plant pathology research allow detailed study of pest management strategies, disease diagnostics, and integrated pest management (IPM) technologies.
Soil Science and Agronomy Research Labs
Specialized labs support research in soil fertility, nutrient management, water conservation practices, and sustainable land use, aligned with ICAR and PSCAE standards.
Seed Technology and Processing Facilities
Facilities are available for seed quality testing, treatment, and research in seed production technologies, fostering innovation in agricultural input industries.
Research Committees and Academic Support Structures
Dedicated committees such as the Academic and Administrative Committee, Lab and Field Strengthening Committee, and Examination/Academic Committee ensure continual enhancement of research standards, acquisition of modern equipment, and compliance with accreditation bodies like NAAC, NIRF, ICAR, and PSCAE​.
