Objective

The objective of the Placement Policy is to ensure a fair, transparent, and efficient recruitment process, enabling students to secure employment in reputed organizations aligned with their skills, interests, and academic background.

Eligibility
  • Final year students of all programs are eligible for campus placement assistance.
  • Students must have a minimum attendance of 75% in placement-related activities.
  • Students should not have any disciplinary cases pending against them.
  • Students must clear all academic backlogs before appearing for final interviews (unless otherwise allowed by the recruiter).
Registration for Placements
  • Students must register with the Training & Placement Department via the official registration form.
  • Only registered students will be allowed to participate in placement drives.
  • Students must upload an updated resume, recent photograph, and academic records during registration.
Placement Process
  • Information about upcoming placement drives will be shared through emails, WhatsApp groups, and student portals.
  • Students must apply as per the deadlines announced for each company/organization.
  • Once a student is shortlisted by a company/organization, they must attend the drive without fail.

Job Offers – Rules and Limitations
  • A student is eligible for one job offer only through campus placements.
  • If selected in a core company, the student will not be allowed to sit in any other non-core placement drives.
  • Once a student receives an offer, they will be automatically excluded from further placement processes, unless:
    • The offer is revoked by the company/organization.
    • The placement cell allows exceptions under special circumstances.
Disqualification Grounds

A student may be debarred from placement assistance due to:

  • Misconduct or indiscipline during recruitment drives.
  • Absenteeism from a drive after confirmation.
  • Providing false or misleading information in the resume or interviews.
  • Non-compliance with university rules.
Internships & Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs)
  • Students who receive PPOs through internships must inform the T&P Cell immediately.
  • Such students may be exempted from further participation based on the PPO nature and organization status.
Feedback and Support
  • Students are encouraged to share feedback about interviews and processes.
  • Placement Coordinators are available for doubt clearing, career counseling, and resume guidance.
Note

The Training & Placement Department reserves the right to make changes in the policy as per the evolving industry trends and academic regulations. All final decisions will rest with the Dean/Director – Training & Placement.
