The Department offers the following programs:

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture (Duration: 4 years; Eligibility: 10+2 with Non-Medical/Medical/Agriculture stream)
• M.Sc. Agriculture in specializations like Agronomy, Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, and Agricultural Economics (Duration: 2 years; Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or equivalent; admission through entrance test).
• Ph.D. in Agriculture with specializations in Agronomy, Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, and Agricultural Economics (Duration: minimum 3 years; Eligibility: Postgraduate degree with 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA; admission through entrance test).
• Diploma in Plant Sciences (Duration: 3 years; Eligibility: 10th standard pass).

Admission to M.Sc. and Ph.D. Agriculture programs is based on an Entrance Test, the details of which are announced through separate notifications in newspapers and on the official university website.

Students have access to hands-on learning through experimental farms, vermicomposting units, dragon fruit cultivation research, polyhouse cultivation practices, orchard management research, and silkworm rearing units.

They also engage in live projects, internships, field training, and research-based assignments.
