The Central Library of GKU was established as Library of Guru Gobind Singh Polytechnic College, Talwandi Sabo in the year of 1998. Later on, other two libraries of Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering, and Guru Gobind Singh College of Education merged into the Central Library at the time of establishment of Guru Kashi University in the year of 2012.
GKU has well stocked library with 981.75 sq.m area and has a collection of 67570 books. It includes a large section of expensive encyclopedias, reference books and a number of textbooks related to the courses being run in the University.
