About the Programme
The Ph.D. in Sociology at Guru Kashi University fosters research in social theory, development, rural and urban sociology, gender studies, and globalization. It equips scholars to critically analyze social institutions, cultural norms, and issues of equity and justice.

Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in Sociology/Anthropology/Social Sciences with at least 55% marks.
- Selection through entrance exam and interview.
