About the Programme
The Bachelor of Vocation in Optometry at Guru Kashi University (GKU) is a vocationally oriented program that focuses on skill development in visual science, eye examination, and optometry practices. Unlike traditional degree programs, B.Voc in Optometry emphasizes practical training, industry exposure, and hands-on experience, making students job-ready in the field of eye care. Students gain knowledge in ocular anatomy, vision testing, corrective lenses, and modern diagnostic equipment.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics, securing at least 50% aggregate marks. Candidates with a Diploma in relevant allied healthcare fields are also eligible.
